If you are attempting to use the built-in camera and instead of seeing yourself onscreen you see an image of a blocked camera with a gray background... do not worry.
This strange issue is a bug with the Lenovo software; through no intervention from the user the camera has become disabled and needs to be re-enabled. Here is how to do it:
- Open the Windows start menu, and type Lenovo until Lenovo Settings appears and open it (if you do not have Lenovo Settings installed you can find it in the Windows App Store).
- Expand the window so that the top icons are displayed and click on the CAMERA menu at the top of the window.
- Scroll down to the bottom of the settings page, under PRIVACY MODE change, Turn Privacy Mode to Off.
Once you turn the PRIVACY MODE "OFF", you will be able to see yourself in the camera feed.
And you are ready to continue with your Video Interview.
