Accessing your Candidate's Responses
For starters, you should know there are two available ways to access your candidate's responses. You may do so either by entering your WePow account and manually search for the desired candidate or by accessing a reviewer access link where the responses have been previously shared with you.
Please note that the interviewer is able to share a candidate with members of the team that will be involved on the hiring process. Depending on the admin's configuration of the settings, the user will have partial or full access to the candidate's responses to receive further evaluation. If sharing the link, the user will be receiving an email as the one on the following picture.
If the recipient is a registered user, he/she will be able to see the interviews that have been previously received and will be directed to the section where those can be reviewed.
Accessing your WePow account
In contrast, if you would like to review the candidate’s responses by entering your WePow account, you should just access it and you will have access to all your interviews. You will notice that on this screen the system will notify you whether there are new interviews pending to be reviewed.
In order to access the candidate’s responses, you should click on the interview you are willing to work with, and then find the candidates whose responses you would like to check.
Remember you can always broaden your candidate’s search by taking advantage of the Search bar or by using the filters located on the upper left corner of your screen, where you can look for an interview by searching criteria such as status of the interview (Complete, Incomplete, Pending Decision, Approved, etc.)
Search for a Particular Candidate
In addition, if you would like to find a particular candidate regardless of the interviews she/he has completed, you can click on the Candidates Tab and search for a specific individual to evaluate his/her responses.
Once you have found the candidate you were looking for, you will have access to all the applications he/she has completed. You will then be able to select from among those options the one you are looking forward to review.
Candidate's Evaluation View
When accessing this section you will visualize the main screen where you can review your candidate’s responses.
To make things easier for you, you will be able to navigate through each question of the interview by hitting on the left and right arrows on your cursor keys, as well as through each candidate, by going up and down on the navigation keys of your keyboard as shown below.
Please note that the video player will allow you to play, pause and change the volume levels of each interview. When playing the video, it will automatically pause after each of your candidate’s responses to each question, unless you click on the arrows located at the lower right corner of the screen to watch the video without pausing.
You will also notice that everytime an answer is playing on your screen, the question for that particular section of the interview will display on the box located on your right hand side. If you would like to navigate in between questions, remember you can use your navigation keys to the left or right or just click on the gray drop-down arrow on the top right corner of the box, and select the question you would like to review, as follows.
The reviewing section will also provide you with some evaluation tools located at the top right side of the screen presented above, including the option to recommend a candidate and check the status of his/her interview. You will also see that there may be some available icons on this section of your screen.
If this is the case, you will first see the Linkedin icon that will allow you to access the candidate’s profile, if added by him/her during the interview.
Also, and if when creating the interview you have asked the candidates to attach certain documentation, you will be able to access their files by clicking on the Documents link.
Please take into consideration that the options mentioned above will only be available to you as long as the admin for the account has activated the viewing and sharing of candidate documents option. Otherwise you will just simply not have access to them.
You will also find that at the bottom of your screen you will have access to the comments that people from your organization have made regarding the interviews. In addition, if while creating the interview there was a form that candidates needed to fill in, you will have access to the answers on either a regular form or an evaluation form on the left side of this section.
Reviewing candidates can sometimes become difficult when you have more than one great option for the position you are offering as an employer. That’s why, if you are willing to compare the responses between two or more candidates in a particular application, you may go back to your Candidates tab and check the boxes for your favorite ones. You will notice that on the top menu there will be a new option available, this will be the Compare button, followed by a number that will indicate the amount of candidates whose responses are being compared.
By clicking on the Compare option, you will have access to the review screen that has been presented on this document, but only those candidates you would like to compare will display on that section.
