Taking a WePow Live Interview should be easy and simple, as it has been tested with diverse computer setups. If you are still having some difficulties, we can help.
First, review that you are accessing the interview from a computer that has one of the supported browsers:
- Chrome 36 or better
- Firefox 31 or better
If you don't have either, please let us know at email@example.com so we can assist you in installing one.
Second, please be aware that taking a video interview needs a stable Internet connection; we recommend that you take the interview in a connection that has at least 256Kbps of bandwidth.
At the moment of the interview, you can tell you have a slow connection if any of the following occurs:
- The screen remains black after you entered your name.
- There are delays between the persons in the conversation.
- Other people's image is "pixelated" or blurry.
To fix this issue, please try the following steps:
1. Close and reopen the browser.
Your browser might encountered a temporal problem, please allow the browser to refresh all its data, by closing and re-opening your Internet browser.
2. Quit all other applications, they might be interfering with your Internet connection.
Please verify that all other applications that are using your network or camera are not active or shut down.
3. Switch your web browser, select one from the 'supported browsers' list above.
Sometimes, even with a supported browser, our platform might be struggling with a specific version of your browser. Please use one of the supported browsers to access your Interview.
4. Connect to a different network.
Taking a live interview requires some network capabilities which might not be present in your current network. Even if its fast, a school, corporate or public network might not be suitable for taking an Interview.
