Welcome to the WePow Help Center! As you were notified before through your email, you have been invited to complete an online video interview for the position you are looking forward to getting. To do so, you may follow the steps below to complete it:
To begin with, click on thelocated in the invitation email you have received.
This section of the interview is called Overview, here you will find simple directions to proceed with your video interview and a summary of main pieces of information such as a number of questions, the amount of time you will have to complete this segment, the possible need for you to upload some additional documentation and general information. Make sure you read it closely before clicking on Continue to Setup.
The Setup part of the process is important; this section is designed to make sure no issues arise while you are in the middle of your video interview, to guarantee your success.
In this step, we want to make sure your bandwidth and connection are the appropriate ones, to begin with, the interview, to ensure the browser, Flash Player version and OS are OK for you to continue with the process, and that your camera and microphone are working properly for you to smoothly complete your video interview.
If you are a Google Chrome user, you may find that the browser will ask your permission to Allow to Use Camera, and will notify you through a pop-up window at the top left corner for you to either "Block" or "Allow" the use of your camera and microphone. Please select the "Allow" option to continue.
Once this step has been taken, Flash Player will also ask for your authorization to enable both the microphone and the camera by showing you a message where you should select the bullet-option "Allow," then check the box "Remember" and finally click on "Close" to continue.
Now it is time to check your equipment configuration, where the first step is to determine if you can see yourself on the screen by clicking on "Yes" if that’s the case or "No" if you cannot see yourself on the screen.
If the answer is "No," you will display the following screen. If after making your attempt to ensure your camera is properly connected, you are still unable to see yourself on the screen, please take a look at our troubleshooting guide.
As a second step, check your microphone by looking at the volume bars on the window, speaking at a normal volume and making sure every time you talk your voice reaches at least the "minimum" bar colored in yellow (If you face any problem try looking at our mic troubleshooting guide). Hit on Setup Video to move forward.
Finally, you will get the chance to make the last test to your video and microphone, by recording a short test segment of yourself. Click on Start Recording to begin, then record a few seconds and click on End Recording to validate you can see and hear yourself on this test. Please note that in the event you are not able to record the designated segment, you must not continue to the next step until you can ensure the video has been recorded.
If after completing your equipment configuration you feel ready to begin your interview, select the option with this title and proceed to start; however, if you feel some practice wouldn’t harm you, just choose the Try Practice Question option and give yourself a chance for a nice warm up.
As previously mentioned, you will be asked a series of questions as part of your video interview, which you will Practice on this section. You will get the chance to see a repetition of each question by clicking on the Repeat Question button located at the right-hand corner; please note that this option will only be available for a one-time repetition on the real interview.
You will then be provided with some time to think about the answer, and whenever you feel ready to give the best of you and dazzle them, just feel free to click on Ready to Answer and proceed to give your greatest answer. Remember that as long as the top right red button is sparkling, the video on the real interview will be recording. If you feel like you have said enough, just click on End Recording and move to the next question following the same process.
Congratulations! At this point, you would have completed the Practice phase, and you will be ready for your real interview. Just breathe deeply, click on Begin Interview and give your best. Nothing, except for the questions, of course, will be different from the Practice you just did. Once you have finished, your video interview will be automatically sent, and you will be directed to the Wrap-Up.
The Wrap Up section is the final stage of your interview, in some cases, you will be asked to upload additional documentation that is required by the employer for the completion of your interview. If that’s the case, this is the screen you will see next:
The Wrap-up also consists of a brief survey you will be asked to complete to help us collect feedback from your experience, please note that this is an optional section, and all your answers will be anonymous. To finish up, click on Send.
Finally, and once your interview is over if you felt like there were some issues about it that you wanted to discuss or something else you would like to share or add, just hit the Click Here button and type in a message that you can Send once you are done. Please note these comments will be directed to the employer while the Wrap Up survey’s only purpose is to improve your experience with the system.
