Meeting candidates face-to-face is important and our Live Interview tool provides your recruitment team with this convenient and user-friendly option to schedule live meetings with candidates.
Follow these simple steps to create a job position, schedule a live interview and make changes to the interview when necessary.

Create a new Live position
Before you can schedule a live interview, you will need to create a new Live position:
- Click on the Live section at the top of the home dashboard.
- Click on +New Live Interview to create a new Live position.
- Enter the position name and you can also add an optional Requisition ID.
- Here you can also opt to check the box to record live interviews in order to share them with other team members or come back to them at a later time.

- Once you have created the interview, it will appear at the top of your Live Interview list.
- You can edit the position name or the Requisition ID by clicking on the pencil icon on the right-hand side:

Note: Deleting the interview will delete the job position and all interviews created for that position, whereas closing the interview will simply close the position and you will still be able to view the completed interviews.
Schedule a Live Interview
Now that the position is created, you can schedule the interview. Simply click on the interview name and you will be taken to the scheduling page.
- Click on +Schedule Interview
- Select the date, time and duration of your interview.
- Next, enter the candidate email and full name. Make sure to enter all information correctly as the candidate information cannot be edited hereafter.
- Enter up to 3 interviewers. As the organizer, you do not have to participate in the interview and can schedule it on behalf of other interviewers.
- You can then opt to check the box to send invitations and updates to participants. This will make sure all participants receive the interview link, in addition to any updates regarding the interview, such as a change of time or cancellation. If you wish to contact candidates outside of Wepow, you can disable this option.
- The email invitation below has all the necessary information to be sent to the candidate about the interview. You can modify this template, but please do not edit the information between brackets as this is auto-populated.
- Once you are ready, click Save, check the information and your invitation will be sent to the candidate.
- Once the interview is scheduled, you can choose to add more interviews at different times for the same position.
Edit the Interview
There are four statuses for an interview:
- Scheduled - the interview is scheduled for a future time.
- Open - the interview is currently active or the scheduled time is up (the interview is open up to 60 minutes before the scheduled time and for 5 hours afterward).
- Successful - the interview was joined by at least two participants.
- Canceled - the recruiter canceled the interview.

Click the chain link icon to copy the URL of the interview or get the access code and phone numbers in the event of connection issues during the interview. |

You can also close or delete the live interview by clicking the icons at the top of the list. |

Once an interview is completed, you will see a video with a play icon where you can see a recording of the interview (if this option was enabled) It can take up to 30 minutes for a live video recording to become available. |

You can also select a video or multiple videos to share with other team members by clicking the share icon. |
Useful Tips
- It is helpful to take our System Test to check that all system requirements are met before the interview. You can take this test here: https://system-test.wepowapp.com/live
- Recorded interviews are created as MP4 files and include audio and video. Files have a maximum duration of 2 hours each and if the interview runs over 2 hours, separate MP4 files will be created.
- Some companies do not have the recording option due to privacy policies.
